Product performs as described. Light & strurdy. The low mount design provides for easy placement of bikes. I used a racheting tie-down to pull the rack to one side to prevent the hitch from rattling in the reciever. This rack would be perfect if it had a locking pin.

I was very happy with the quality of this bike rack. It will work perfect for what I wanted it for. I was a little unhappy with the fact the picture shows a 2" tube all the way from the receiver to the back. I was hoping to be able to buy another rack in 2 to 3 months to add on the end of this to hold up to 4 bikes. The item sent had a 2" receiver for the first 4" then it was a 1.25" tube on. It did say 2 bike hitch mount rack... The picture shows a 2" tube all the way. Quality of the product was great expecially for the price...

I bought this bike rack for my fiance for Christmas and had to research and make a decision without his input. I was nervous I would choose the wrong thing but he seems to really love this one. At first he was a little wary of the fact that the bike's wheels rest on the bottom of the rack, but then after the first use he realized it was helpful because it keeps them from spinning while driving. It folds up to be very small and fits easily in a closet when not in use. He is very happy with this rack!

Swagman is starting to ship these with their latest revision, which has the 2" hitch adapter (removable) and about a 4" rise in the lower bar of the assembly - which is great for avoiding scrapes when dealing with driveways, etc.

I'm not a big fan of the wheel loops, as their higher end models (XTC2 for example) physically locks the wheel in place from left to right and seems to secure it by using more area. When mounted on my car (2006+ VW GTI) the inner bike is a tad bit close to the body of the car and the right pedal may touch the license plate frame; I would recommend removing that pedal for transport.

Great solid (and heavy) construction as many have mentioned, but when folded up I am having a hard time finding somewhere to store this beast. I added red reflective tape to the bottom, bike-holding, arms of the unit so that it would be more visible at night (highly recommended, $2 upgrade from Walmart). Also, I've added cable Velcro ties to each of the wheel loops so that I can secure the wheels to the rack just that much more - make sure to get something longer than 11 inches.

For the price and what you get, you can't beat the value. I look at other racks from Saris and Thule and I simply cannot justify the 150+ price difference.
