I waited for 5 months to write this review as I'd noticed that another reviewer had experienced some issues with rust after only 4 months. This hitch lock lives in Florida near the water where it is exposed to high humidity and high salinity environments every day. If it were going to have rust issues, this environment would have made an ideal incubator. Thus far, no rust. No issues at all, in fact. It was easy to install, tucks away unobtrusively, the cap protects the lock interior and it does the job it was designed to do very well.
